AM Session: This camp is for young artists ages 6-10 (as of Sept 1).
Tues/Wed/Thurs
9:30 am-12:30pm
Take some time to explore the peacefulness of nature and the beauty of the shore. The focus is on found objects, careful observation, and drawing details with an emphasis on texture, color and light!
Each session focuses on a new theme so no two weeks are alike. Young artists will learn about some famous artists, experiment with some fun art making processes and engage their imaginations and creativity to create 2-3 of their own masterpieces. Young artists should have mastered basic skills like cutting with scissors, applying glue and painting with a brush.
This session includes a walk to the gazebo for a snack break and some free play in the studio.
