Open Art Studio Time for Families to Create Together!

During the open art studio, the whole family can explore their artistic side together. Think of this like going out to an art themed restaurant. Make a reservation. Order off of the art menu. This is the perfect way for you to spend some creative time together with friends and family. Come gather around my creative table and make some memories that last a lifetime.

 Please note: 

• Kids who finish early before the adults can do some coloring or free drawing. 

• Pre- registration is required with a $5.00 per person non-refundable booking fee. No walk-ins this summer.

• Space is limited to 10 participants per 1.5 hour session

• Rainy days, heat advisory days, and no-swimming days are especially popular.  

• Everyone is encouraged to participate in open studio time. Non participants(studio sitters) will be charged $5.00 per person

• Price per person is $30 for participants (art makers) and includes choice of any project from the art menu

• Available for private group time. Please contact the studio

Here’s how it works: 

Step One: Choose an art project

• Pick a bisqueware piece to paint and personalize. 

• Choose a wooden door hanger to paint then assemble.

• Select one of our canvases with a sublimated design. paintings range in difficulty for anyone ages 4-94! We can also trace any image you’d like onto your canvas to paint from. 

• Select a wooden surfboard or mermaid to paint, stencil and adorn.

• Grab a blank tote bag and get painting. We can transfer one of our designs onto it or help you design your own.

• Bring a partner and paint two wine glasses. Try one of our designs or we can help you with your own ideas. Then take them home to bake so your designs last forever.

• Or just ask us for some paper and art supplies and you can explore drawing, collage, scrapbooking or mixed media on your own. We have some really good art supplies to inspire you.

Step Two: Select your colors and set up your art area. We can help you choose color schemes or give you a few pointers to create the design you want. We bring you an apron, brushes, water, paper towels and all supplies to start. 

Step Three: Get painting and complete your masterpiece to take home. You have plenty of time- 1 hour and 30 minutes. The best part is we clean up the mess when you are done.
